About

Kyo Min Koo is a J.D. candidate at Handong International Law School, pursuing a concentration in U.S. and International Law with an expected graduation in December 2027. His legal work has taken shape across three jurisdictions: constitutional research at Korea's Constitutional Research Institute, cross-border transactional and dispute-related work at Yulchon's Hanoi office, and the evaluation of AI-generated legal content for TELUS Digital in Vancouver.

Before beginning his legal studies, he served as a Judicial Administration Specialist in the Republic of Korea Army's Judge Advocate Office, where he supported hundreds of investigations and disciplinary proceedings and reviewed contracts and regulations. He holds a B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Law and Society, from the University of British Columbia, where he graduated with distinction.

Fluent in English and Korean, he brings a comparative and cross-border lens to legal research — grounded in an early interest in international arbitration and dispute resolution.
